Utah Girls Love You, is developing into a non profit organization designed to help and encourage single mom, senior citizens and homeless. Our number one goal is to help Utahans first and foremost. We have developed two main projects that we are hold and dear to our hearts, Helping hands and Single Mommy's project. Our Helping Hands is geared towards senior and less-fortunate Utahans offering a helping hand to senior citizen; yard and house services at no cost and the homeless we collect donations and distribute back into the community with items such as: blankets, shoes, book, and bags of hope at Christmas time filled with rain ponchos, socks, toothbrushes, mouthwash or toothpaste, hand warmers, beanies. We ask for the items for the bag of hope to be new items and we also collect monetary donations as well. Single Mommy's project is geared towards helping single moms with mentoring, finding necessary resources, building confidence, helping to develop their independence, self worth, education and help with clothing and household items with donation we collect from the community. Single Mommy's Project geared towards single Mommy's whom struggle with the everyday issues such as; how to feed their kids? How to keep a roof over their children's heads? How do I get out? and list goes on and on, of these questions many moms have, we have worked with in the past and currently working with on a daily basis. Helping these individuals find hope and encourage that through hard work, determination and faith anything is possible.
We are so excited of the direction Utah Girls Love You is headed. Thank you so much for all the love and support thus far..

September is Recovery awareness month, this is month is geared towards supporting individuals that have recovered from the addiction. So, we love St. George and Cedar city campaign, "my name is", "which is designed to raise awareness about addiction recovery. “My name is …” offers an opportunity for recovering addicts to proudly identify themselves, share their stories and be honored for their effort to live an addiction-free life. In September businesses, organizations and community leaders throughout Southern Utah will join together in showing support for individuals in recovery from addiction. Several activities are planned throughout the month, culminating with the Sept. 23-25 Utah Fall Substance Abuse Conference held in St. George this year." St George New article 9-2015
Utah is suffering with addiction across the state. So, we thought is was important to bring awareness to addiction and how it affects all walks of life throughout our great state of Utah. So, we want to strike up conversation on addiction and that individuals whom have been in recovery should not be ashamed but should be proud and hold their heads up high with pride. Addiction destroyed lives and one should be proud to say I was once an addict and share their story, you never know who you may affect with your story.. U.G.L.Y. salutes all recovering addicts for their strengthen, courage, and ability to overcome their addiction.

These pictures are of the Single Mommy's Project giving back to our helping hands project, taking donated items; blankets, scarfs, shoes, clothing, bananas and bottled waters to a local shelter in Salt Lake and local thrift store. It was a touching experience for all of the ladies on various levels. Many of the ladies had never seen or been close to a shelter, let alone be up close and personal with a homeless person. It was an incredible experience to witness the change in the ladies' eyes, looking at these individual's circumstances homeless on the streets, which has to be lowest point of a person's life, these ladies were able to see past some of their own obstacles and gain a sense of relief and understanding, that they have a choice in their future to fight through and make a difference starting with themselves. So, through merging the Helping hands and Single Mommy's Projects, we meet many goals, showing how giving other's, makes a difference in everyone's lives for the better. The Single Mommy's project is not only giving donations to single moms but it has now formed into a group of women, single mom and former single moms, encouraging and supporting one another to live positive, be kind, be accepting to diversity and make difference as a whole not just in one general area.
We have been on a mission here at Utah Girls Love You to offer a helping hand to whom wants take our gestures and make a difference in people’s lives with simple things such as; accepting and loving people no matter their status or circumstances. OUR GOAL IS TO JUST BE ACCEPTING TO ALL FELLOW UTAHNS, THIS IS SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT TO US AND TO TEACH OUR CHILDREN DIVERSITY, to be NONJUDGMENTAL, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST ALWAYS OFFER A HELPING HAND TO THOSE WHOM ARE NEED!!

Its a beautiful Sunday. A great day to look at our last week and see what we have learned to make the next week all that much better. We must not dwell in the past. Or get to anxious for the future. Be happy in the moment. But take your lessons learned everyday to make each new day better. Life is all ours and we must make it that way.
We are here for a purpose. We all are given a gift. Many gifts. But when we take time to sit and realize what we are truly exceptionally good at and build it. Grow it. And use it to help ourselves and others. A whole new world opens up. a Bright Beautiful One. Heavens got a plan for us all.
We must give everything our all and fight til the end for what we want and what we truly believe in our heart and souls is true. Bring back the innocence that we all once had when we were first born. The non judgmental innocence. The pure and true. Its always been there. Find it. Use it.
